October 30-31st in Coychurch

The Help for Coychurch Residents group is once again looking to support the community to come together and create a community (socially distanced) event, this time on the theme of Halloween.

Similar to the scarecrows competition, and as lockdown continues to impact our everyday lives, it’s another opportunity where the village can participate in something that makes us feel good about Coychurch.

After a number of great ideas were put forward we have narrowed down 4 parts to our festivities!

Best Pumpkin Carving2 prizes: adult and kids – judge allocated

The judges for the Pumpkin carvings will walk around the village on the 30th October so do not forget to put your pumpkins out the day before!

Best Halloween Cake/Bake – judge allocated

Cakes entries will need to be brought to the Williams Memorial Hall (complying with social distancing) on the 31st October, from 1pm to 3pm.

Best Fancy Dress – photo entry! Judge allocated

Fancy Dress pictures will need to be posted to the “Help for Coychurch Residents”  Facebook page by the 1st November.

Best Window Poster – kids – judge needed for this one!

Photos of the children’s poster entries will need to be submitted to the Facebook page by the end of Thursday 29th October!

We look forward to ideas being posted on our page over the next few weeks and seeing your fun filled and amazing creations at the end of the month.
